Compressed Air Rebate Opportunities

Exotic Air Systems partners with your local energy provider to help you unlock savings and rebate opportunities! Availability and amounts may vary based on your utility’s specific requirements.

Supply-Side Measures

  • Install a new VSD (Variable Speed Drive) compressor and dryer system

  • Retrofit existing system with a new VSD compressor and dryer

  • Replace desiccant compressed air dryer with a refrigerated non-cycling dryer

  • Install a new desiccant compressed air dryer with dew point sensor control

  • Install a new heat-of-compression desiccant compressed air dryer

  • Add a compressed air recycling pneumatic valve

  • Upgrade to a low pressure drop compressed air filter

  • Add a compressed air pressure-flow controller

  • Install an outdoor air intake system for compressors

  • Install a waste heat recovery system for compressors (natural gas)

  • Add a compressed air storage tank (≥ 90 psig)

  • Replace an existing rotary screw or reciprocating compressor with a more efficient unit

    • New unit must have a rated horsepower at least 23.1% lower than the existing unit

    • Applies to single-compressor systems only

Demand-Side Measures

  • Compressed Air Energy Audit

    • Includes major leak detection, tagging, and system analysis

    • Requires repair of at least 50% of identified leaks (by volume)

    • Must be performed by an independent contractor

  • Compressed Air Leak Repair

    • Requires repair of at least 50% of identified leaks (by volume)

    • Applies to retrofit applications only (not new construction)

  • Install a new zero-loss condensate drain

  • Install a pressure-sensing vortex vacuum generator

  • Replace pneumatic hand tools with corded electric hand tools

  • Replace pneumatic motors with electric motors

  • Replace compressed air blow-off systems with low-pressure air blower systems

  • Replace open pipe/tube assemblies with engineered compressed air nozzles
